And the music is always so beautiful and appropriate - esp this episodes. I had an urge to leave you a comment at Odeo volunteering to read somebody else's essay, but then I realized 1) work is HECTIC right now, 2) my wedding is 2.5 months away (ack!) and 3) I have no appropriate microphone. :( Sniff. So, I just wanted to let you know that if I remember sometime after mid-November and have funds leftover from the wedding to buy a microphone, I'll definitely volunteer. This trip was my husbands 25th wedding anniversary present to me. I've been an Anglophile since I was 10 and a knitter for the past 5 years or so. After 25 years of stuggling financially and working through all the issues married people have, it was truly the trip of a lifetime. Listening to your podcast is such a treat, for the sense of place, the knitting content and most of all, your wit and delightful personality. Well done, you.
