Brother Amos

Knit with the saints, or fry with the sinners, your feet will look great either way in Brother Amos toe up socks. Inspired by the fiery preacher in Stella Gibbons’ Cold Comfort Farm, Brother Amos socks feature a lace stitch pattern reminiscent of the flickering flames of hell where, according to Brother Amos, we’re all doomed to “fritter and fry” for eternity. Brother Amos socks are knit in the round on two circular needles. Calf shaping is achieved by changing needle sizes. Socks are finished with a stretchy ribbed bind off.
